No refunds or replacements will be issued for cosmetic issues that occur in transit to the final destination.

Return & Damage Policy

At this time, I do not allow returns.

However, if you do receive a damaged or potentially defective item, please email me directly at contact@emmahamm.com!

Please include the following with your email:

  • Photos of the item and issue
  • The packaging condition when it arrived
  • Any other information to help us!

Once we receive your email with the above, we will work with you on either a partial refund or a replacement if available.

If a replacement is necessary, we may require you send back the damaged item with a prepaid return label we'll provide.

Shipping Info

Orders that include a combination of in-stock and preordered items within the same order will ship when all items are in-stock.

  • Preorders are labeled via the item name and the description of the product
  • In-stock items have no "preorder" language
  • Orders that have only in-stock items will ship ASAP.

All book orders are shipped via media mail and shipping is calculated with that in mind. You'll find my shipping prices for books only are lower than you might expect!

All other products are shipped through a drop shipping company and they control the shipping. Every order will come with a tracking number.

Orders are typically shipped every weekday that USPS is open.

Beautiful editions! Packaged great and can hardly see and damage from Scratch & Dent

SO happy!

I was a little nervous, my first time ordering from a Scratch & Dent book sale. But, even buying new (i.e., from Amazon), I've received numerous damaged NEW books. I ordered both a paperback and a hardcover, and both are nearly perfect! The 'imperfections' are extremely minimal. I am very pleased with my order, and - I'll be back!

Amazing deal

This is the second book I’ve purchased from a scratch and dent sale and again I’m blown away with the quality. This book only had a slight dent on the corner and was less banged up than other full priced books I’ve purchased at book stores. It really goes to show the care that Emma has for her readers and customers. I will definitely be purchasing from her again.
